"Clever" ear-phones will protect ears from loud sounds

Experts from the company dB Logic have started to let out ear-phones in which is advanced «jammers» loud sounds, — informs Technology Review.

The company Know-how dB Logic consists in limiting loudness of playing of music at level in 85 dB as doctors recommend. Thus smoothly to suppress sounds ear-phones begin after several seconds of playing on limiting loudness.  
The listener, according to inventors, will not feel discomfort from "fastening", as quality as the highest, and the lowest sounds, remains accurate. It is important also that as an energy source for "cap" audiosignals, instead of the battery serve.
Approximate cost of unprofitable ear-phones HP-100 will make $50, and intrachannel EP-100 — $35.
According to Bryan Fligora who heads branch diagnostic audiology the Boston children's hospital (USA), now the average American listens every week to music approximately 18 hours, and at some this figure reaches till 70 o'clock.
