In mountains to build solar power stations it is more favourable, than in desert?

The more the sun, the more energy will collect solar batteries, it is clear. At National institute of the advanced industrial science and technics of Japan have suggested to place factories on solar energy manufacture not in deserts, and in mountains, proving it that at lower temperature it is possible to collect more energy. How much it was investigated expediently by experts Discovery News.
As base for building of solar power stations the group under the direction of Kitaro Kavadziri suggests to use the Himalayas and the Andes. By their calculations productivity of such factories will be on 20 % above, than that are located at a sea level.
On the other hand, to save up the received energy also it is important (after all not without reason many of us use houses power saving up lamps which essentially save our means). And here already the solar power stations constructed in mountains, do not maintain a competition with similar, but constructed in more low district. First of all because of the big distances to which it is necessary to transfer the received energy.
Japanese researchers in the work and such aspect, as political and business factors which influence development of solar power have not considered. For comparison, in the USA to use solar power stations it is much more favourable in cloudy New Jersey, than in Colorado rich on hills, or deserted Arizona. And all because here development of this branch of power is actively supported by local authorities.
